Wrigley Ranch Holding Company is the property manager for two of the most popular vacation homes in the Grand Canyon region of Northern Arizona. Both properties are 1 bedroom, 1 bath separate, free standing homes that have all regular amenities including gas stoves, refrigerator, microwave, K-Cup coffee maker, bathroom with shower, dining area, dual bed heaters, outdoor dining area and outdoor seating, propane BBQ, and outdoor fire pit. Located just 60 miles South of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, the Wrigley Ranch was, indeed, developed and built by the famous Wrigley Family (Chicago Cubs/Wrigley Field, Wrigley Chewing Gum).

In addition to the nicely designed and contemporary appointments of the single family properties, the Wrigley Ranch stays also offer Horseback Riding, Target Shooting and hosted 4WD Tours of the forests, meadows, mountain tops and prairies of the famous Spring Valley region.

The Grand Canyon is an unusual location in that almost no vacation homes exist in the immediate area of the national park. There are but a few Hotels and the minimal room availability results in sky-high prices near or in the park. And while the Grand Canyon itself has wooded, forest type areas, the areas between the Grand Canyon and the popular housing areas is virtually barren, high desert. But here at the Wrigley Ranch and the surrounding areas of Flagstaff and Williams, you’ll find yourself in the largest contiguous pine forest in the United States, the Kaibab National Forest. Here at the Wrigley Ranch, you’ll be nestled into 40-80ft tall pines and joined by elk, deer, antelope and the usual host of other forest animals.

On the ranch itself, you’ll enjoy offering treats to the horses (they love carrots), taking the goat for a walk, checking for fresh eggs in the morning or watching the ducks frolic in the pond. Hiking trails start at your door! And in most winters, you’ll be able to cross country ski right from your front door.

Property management is right on site. So, you never have to be concerned with plumbing, electrical, appliance issues or any other type of failure that will leave you alone to deal with. In winter, property management clears snow from access roads on property and the main road is plowed by the County. As a school bus route, the roads are almost always plowed promptly. From November 1 – April 30, we do recommend that you consider the elevation of this “ski resort” region (7,000-8,000ft) and be prepared for winter driving conditions (4WD, AWD, or 2WD with chains). While most will never need chains here, it is a good idea to be ready, just in case of unusually heavy snows or icing conditions.

Unlike most properties in the region, horseback riding, target shooting and 4WD Tours are available all year ’round, subject to weather and ground conditions, of course. Additional costs for these activities can be paid on site with Visa or MasterCard. Riding and shooting have mandatory but free instruction and safety training in advance. We do not supply helmets for riding because of insurance and liability issues. We do supply targets, ear protection and safety glasses (if requested) for shooting. Indemnification of liability waivers required for all activity(ies).

In late spring, summer, and early Fall, your very own, exclusive, outdoor fire pits, BBQs and outdoor seating is available. Firewood is available at a nominal fee which is about 1/2 of what the local stores are charging. BBQs are gas powered and we supply the propane for you free. Smoking is allowed outdoors around fire pits or on concrete areas or in your vehicles only. Fire pits and outdoor smoking may be occasionally banned by local authorities, especially during “red flag” conditions.
